We are pleased to announce the latest release, Solix Platform V2.9.2, packed with new features and
enhancements, including outdoor tracking support, enhanced AoA deployment guidance, multilingual
support, improved API documentation, performance optimizations, and a wide range of usability and
reliability improvements.

Outdoor Tracking & LEF Device Support
Solix now supports ZENIX LEF outdoor gateways, enabling:
• LEF device configuration and management
• Live Map tracking for outdoor devices
• GPS-RSSI device type support
• Outdoor positioning and tracking workflows
AoA Gateway Coverage Guidance
Zone creation and editing now provides guidance on the recommended number of AoA gateways
required to achieve optimal coverage.
Device Deployment
Device deployment and editing workflows now provide best-accuracy recommendations for AoA
devices, helping users optimize gateway placement and positioning accuracy.
Multilingual Platform Support
Solix is now available in multiple languages:

• Italian
• Spanish
New Scalar-Based API Documentation
Solix introduces a new Scalar-based API documentation experience, providing:
• Integration-ready API reference documentation for partners
• Limited API documentation preview for prospective clients

Improved Tablet Experience: Updated the UI for improved display and usability on tablet devices.
Zone Visibility: Added a new Zone column to the Tag Summary page for quick reference.
Live Map Performance: Improved Live Map performance to reduce slowdowns during extended
sessions.
Faster Live Map Filtering: Improved tag search and status updates in the Live Map filter panel for a
faster and more responsive experience.
Faster Data Refresh: Reduced the auto-refresh interval on the Gateway, Tag, and Beacon Summary
pages from 2 minutes to 1 minute, keeping displayed data more current.
Smoother Dashboard Experience: Improved dashboard tile count-up animations for smoother visual
performance.
Consistent Zone & Region Editing: Standardized marker styling and drag behavior across Zone and
Region add/edit screens.
Consistent Date & Time Formatting: Improved consistency of date and time formats across the
platform.
Improved Heat Map Navigation: Updated the Heat Map compass to match the Live Map compass,
including the click-to-reset-north functionality.
Faster Data Lookups: Added a caching layer to improve loading times for building, floor, zone, region,
notification rule, and country-list lookups.
Backend API Performance: Improved backend performance for configuration uploads and position
history endpoints.
Streamlined CSV Upload Results: Improved bulk CSV upload feedback on the Tag, Gateway, and
Beacon Summary pages. Successful uploads now display a quick confirmation, while failed records are
consolidated into a single results list.
Maps, Live Map & Heat Map
- Fixed map loading issues on certain edit pages.
- Fixed stacked tag markers on Live Map not displaying the complete tag list.
Fixed unnamed tags displaying “NA” instead of their MAC address in the Live Map
filter. - Fixed Heat Map tag search not consistently displaying as a searchable dropdown.
- Fixed Heat Map zoom and centering issues when selecting a building or floor.
- Fixed floor selection on Heat Map unexpectedly resetting the form.
- Fixed Live Map device deployment displaying disabled devices.
- Improved handling of unexpected errors that could previously break page
functionality.
Device & Configuration Management
- Fixed calibrated RSSI bar display issues on the Edit Device page.
- Fixed Device Binding allowing the same tag to be assigned multiple times to the same
notification rule. - Fixed incorrect error messages when enabling or disabling tags and gateways.
- Fixed Edit Gateway displaying generic errors instead of specific validation messages.
- Fixed Edit Gateway displaying outdated information after a successful update.
- Fixed Edit Tag displaying outdated MAC address or Serial Number information after
saving. - Fixed Tag Summary not updating Type or Description correctly when fields were left
empty. - Improved duplicate MAC address validation and error messaging.
- Fixed floor editing errors not displaying the actual reason for failure.
Notifications & User Management
- Fixed an issue that could generate duplicate notifications.
- Fixed deletion of roles that were still assigned to users.
- Fixed configured per-client user limits not being enforced.
- Improved error handling when deleting tags, gateways, beacons, buildings, floors,
regions, zones, device bindings, notification rule types, and users. - Fixed My Profile not displaying confirmation after a successful update.
- Improved validation messages on the My Profile page.
Forms & Validation
- Fixed forms silently resetting after failed submissions.
- Improved error handling across Add Region, Add Zone, Add Device Binding, Add
- Notification Rule, and My Profile forms.
- Fixed duplicate naming issues across Buildings, Floors, Regions, Zones, Roles, and Notification Rules.
- Improved validation and error reporting for bulk CSV uploads.
- Fixed CSV upload failures not displaying appropriate error messages.
- Fixed cases where server-rejected enable/disable actions incorrectly displayed as
successful.
History & Data Display
- Fixed inflated record counts when loading additional historical data on Gateway Health, History and Tag Position History pages.
- Fixed sensor history chart height display issues.
