PINIX TOK-1

Description

The PINIX line is a series of advanced Bluetooth Low Energy 5.x devices using standard RTLS tag technology. The PINIX TOK-1 is a Smart Badge BLE AoA Tag with a Temperature Sensor for person tracking, positioning, and temperature monitoring. It features an ultra-low power consumption chipset Nordic nRF52 series. The PINIX TOK-1 has a keychain/lanyard hole that can easily be attached to other objects and uses a commercially available replaceable button cell to power itself.

The PINIX TOK-1 comes with a downloadable SDK with an extensive library for easy integration into a wide range of location-based and navigation-based applications. It also includes a wide range tool facilitating optimal setup and installation.

Sentrax Device Manager

The Sentrax Device Manager (SDM) app allows you to manage PINIX beacons. You can discover nearby beacons, check their battery levels, view their current settings, and modify these settings with a 4-digit PIN.

For security, beacons can only be configured within 15 minutes of a new battery installation or by manually activating configuration mode. The configuration window can be extended to up to three weeks using advanced settings.
