What is PINIX TOP-6?
The PINIX TOP-6 is a Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) 5.x AoA smart badge with integrated RFID, purpose-built for workforce safety, indoor positioning, and secure identity management. Designed as a wearable CR80 card holder, it combines real-time location tracking with identification and access control in a single device.
The badge features a dedicated SOS button for instant emergency alerts, supported by LED indicators and an onboard buzzer for immediate user feedback. Powered by an ultra-low-power Nordic® nRF52 chipset, the PINIX TOP-6 supports multi-protocol beacon functionality and seamless integration with the Sentrax SOLIX RTLS platform. It enables geo-fenced alerts, visitor management, automated attendance, access control, and real-time personnel visibility across enterprise environments.

How It Works?
The PINIX TOP-6 continuously broadcasts Bluetooth Low Energy signals that are received by Sentrax ZENIX AoA Locators. The SOLIX RTLS platform processes the Angle of Arrival data to calculate accurate indoor locations in real time. Its integrated RFID enables secure identification for access control, visitor management, and attendance automation, allowing organizations to combine positioning and identity management within a single wearable badge.

You can discover nearby beacons, check their battery levels, view their current settings, and modify them with a protected 4-digit settable PIN. For security, beacons can only be configured within 15 minutes of a new battery installation or by manually activating configuration mode. Using advanced settings, the configuration window can be extended to up to three weeks. |
