What is PINIX TOB-1?
The PINIX TOB-1 is a Bluetooth® Low Energy 5.x wearable beacon tag designed for accurate indoor positioning, personnel safety, vulnerable tracking, and emergency response across healthcare, industrial, enterprise, and high-security environments. Powered by the Nordic nRF52 chipset, it supports BLE AoA, multiple Bluetooth advertising protocols, an integrated SOS emergency button, an IP67-rated enclosure, a replaceable CR2032 battery, and a built-in accelerometer for reliable real-time people location monitoring.

How It Works?
The PINIX TOB-1 Wearable tag broadcasts BLE signals to Sentrax AoA scanners, which process them through the RTLS platform to deliver precise indoor person positioning and emergency response.

With the Sentrax Device Manager (SDM) Application user can scan for nearby configurable PINIX beacons, view their battery status and modify the settings. The configuration of beacons is a password protected with a four (4) digit user settable PIN. s an added safety feature, the beacons can only be configured within a period of 15 minutes after installing the batteries or can be manually triggered into configuration mode by pressing the reset button on the Tag. However, this time duration can be increased through the settings to up to 3 weeks or forever. |
