Major Platform Enhancements, BiLink Beacon Support & Live Map
Performance Improvements!
Solix Suite v2.8.9 introduces significant enhancements focused on usability, performance, live tracking
experience, and BiLink ecosystem support. This release adds new alerting capabilities, EntraID SSO
authentication, expanded beacon compatibility, and major Live Map improvements, while also
addressing several platform stability and usability issues.

New Features
Tag Buzzing from Summary Page
Users can now trigger tag buzz alerts directly from the Tags Summary page for faster device interaction
and operational workflows.
Button-Based Alert Rules
A new Button Rule has been added, allowing alerts to be triggered whenever a tag button is pressed.
Interactive Button Alert Notifications
Button-triggered notifications now include direct navigation to the Live Map, automatically
highlighting and pulsing the relevant tag for quick identification.
BiLink Beacon Support
Solix RTLS & IoT Platform now fully supports BiLink Beacons. Users can deploy, configure, and manage
BiLink beacons for room-level asset tracking and related RTLS use cases.
EntraID Single Sign-On (SSO)
Users can now securely log in using Microsoft EntraID SSO, enabling password less authentication
through their organizational email accounts.
Platform Updates & Improvements
UI & User Experience Enhancements
• Success toast notifications are now centralized and standardized across the platform.
• The Tag Summary page UI has been refreshed with improved visual indicators for:
o Successful buzz alerts
o Failed alerts
o Timeout states
• Column labels across Gateway, Beacon, and Tag Config pages have been simplified for
better readability.
Beacon & Device Management
• Beacon Summary and Beacon Config pages now support both Anchor and BiLink
Beacon device types.
• The Add New Device page has been redesigned with enhanced contextual guidance
and BiLink beacon deployment support.
• Floor layout uploads are now restricted to supported image formats:
o .jpeg
o .jpg
o .png
Gateway & Live Map Improvements
Gateway Summary page data status labels have been updated:
o Offline → Not Receiving
o Online → Receiving
• Live Map performance has been significantly optimized.
• Search functionality on Live Map has been improved for faster device discovery.
• Enhanced Tag Filtering capabilities on Live Map.
• Added Tag Clustering support with visible stacked-tag counts for better map
visualization.
Floor Sensor toggle behavior now correctly deselects gateways when disabled.
Heatmap Enhancements
• Overall, Heatmap date range filtering experience has been improved.
• Added a new View Heatmap option within the tag popup on Live Map, enabling direct
navigation to the selected tag’s heatmap view.
User Management Enhancements
User Management now displays all accounts, including disabled users.
• Added a Re-enable User option for streamlined account restoration workflows.
Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where Zone Information was not displaying correctly on the Beacons
Summary page.
• Resolved validation issues preventing decimal values from being entered in the iB Int,
TLM Int, and UID Int interval fields within Tag Config.
• Corrected inaccurate Gateway Ping Status behavior on the Live Map.
• Fixed the Heatmap Date Range Filter Reset functionality to properly restore original
data points.
• Resolved issues preventing edits to Disabled Devices.
• Restored Load More Events functionality.
• Fixed login page behavior to correctly display authentication and system errors.
• Resolved failures when uploading floor layout images with the .jpeg extension.
