# Solix Updates Version 2.8.7

## Introducing New Features and Updates to Your Solix RTLS and IoT Management Platform Experience!

This release introduces a new Preferences section for simplified configuration management, enhances Live Map performance and visuals, and resolves an issue where devices intermittently appeared offline, delivering a more stable and seamless real-time tracking experience. 

## Release Information:

### New Feature 

Added a new Preferences option, accessible at the bottom of the sidebar for quick access. 

### Updates  

- Relocated **Country**, **Timezone**, and **Unit Preferences** from the Profile section to a dedicated **“Preferences”** modal. 

- Improved **Live Map performance** for smoother real-time updates. 

- Updated **Live Map markers** for better visibility and usability. 

### Bug Fixes 

Live Map: Fixed an issue where devices intermittently appeared offline.
