### Description

The [**PINIX TOW-1**](https://sentrax.com/product/pinix-tow-1/) is a Hybrid BLE RSSI & AoA Tag from the advanced PINIX BLE 5.x series, designed for asset tracking and location-based applications. It offers ultra-low power consumption, long battery life, and easy mounting with replaceable button cells.

A downloadable SDK and setup tools enable quick integration and optimal installation for indoor navigation and tracking solutions.

### Sentrax Device Manager

The **Sentrax Device Manager (SDM)** app lets you discover and manage nearby PINIX beacons, check battery levels, view settings, and update them securely with a 4-digit PIN.

For security, beacons can be configured only within 15 minutes of battery installation or by activating configuration mode. Advanced settings allow extending this window up to three weeks.

By incorporating an optional cell battery, the lifespan can be extended by 4 to 12 months, depending on the advertising frequency.
