### Description

The **PINIX TEP-1** is part of Sentrax’s advanced BLE 5.x PINIX beacon line, using multi-standard beacon technology for high performance. This tamper-proof wearable bracelet is built for safety and independence in high-security medical environments like hospitals and nursing homes. It supports precise tracking of people and assets and uses an ultra-low-power **Nordic nRF52** chipset.

The TEP-1 ensures maximum security with tamper and cut-off alerts that trigger preset BLE broadcasts. An optional **SOS button** enables immediate assistance in emergencies. Designed for easy deployment, it includes comprehensive tools for smooth setup and reliable operation.

### Sentrax Device Manager

With the Sentrax Device Manager (SDM) you can scan for nearby configurable PINIX beacons, display their battery status, view their ettings and make modifications to those settings. Configuration of beacons are password protected with a four (4) digit user settable PIN.

As an added safety feature, the beacons can only be configured with in 15 minutes after installing the batteries or can be manually triggered into configuration mode by pressing the reset button on the Tag. However, this time duration can be increased through the settings to up to 3 weeks or more.
