The [PINIX TEF-1](https://sentrax.com/product/pinix-tef-1/) is an advanced BLE 5.x outdoor anchor beacon designed for precise positioning and mixed indoor–outdoor navigation. It features a 7200mAh replaceable battery with 9–10 years of life, IP65 protection, and wide temperature support. With ultra-low power use, easy installation, compatibility with standard mounts, and a complete SDK for smooth integration, it ensures reliable long-term performance for location-based solutions.

### Sentrax Device Manager

The [**Sentrax Device Manager (SDM)**](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sentrax.device_manager&hl=en) app allows you to manage PINIX beacons. You can discover nearby beacons, check their battery levels, view their current settings, and modify them with a protected 4-digit settable PIN.

For security, beacons can only be configured within 15 minutes of a new battery installation or by manually activating configuration mode. Using advanced settings, the configuration window can be extended to up to three weeks.
